Dale has over three decades of design, advertising, project management and business experience. As Co-Founder and President of Canyon Creative, Dale is closely involved with all aspects of projects, from strategic planning through project completion. He firmly believes success transpires from working proactively and collaboratively with key staff members and clients in an environment of open communication and creative problem solving.
Before there was Canyon Creative, he was Vice President of the largest outside creative resource utilized by The Walt Disney Co. at that time. Dale worked on a variety of exciting projects, including the creation of retail souvenir products, marketing and advertising for The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Aladdin, and Pocahontas. He designed the marketing materials for the Official Disneyana Convention and Disney’s Teddy Bear and Doll Convention. Dale also had the pleasure of designing the boxes and bags everything is packed up in when you purchase something at Walt Disney World.
Dale has designed for many Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. His client list includes American Express, American Standard, Armstrong World Industries, Black & Decker, Boston Red Sox, Dennison, General Electric, Hunt Manufacturing, Pella Windows, Perdue Chicken, Price Pfister, Inc., Rolodex Corporation, Sunbeam Appliance, Wang Laboratories, W.R. Grace, and others.
Dale is an active member of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA). He sits on the TEA International Board and has been Chairman of the Marketing & Communications Committee since 2009. During the course of these duties, he redeveloped the brand, designed the new logo and oversaw the entire design and development of the new TEA website.
Dale is also Vice President of the Las Vegas Executives Association and was previously the Chairman of the Marketing & Development Committee for several years. He is a Co-Founder and Secretary of AeroQuestUSA, LLC, a marketing complex for the tradeshow, aerospace and defense industry that is currently in development. Dale sits on the board of the Nevada Children’s Medical Center Foundation and is the past President and Sponsorship Director for the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Las Vegas Chapter.
Dale has a B.F.A. in Communications Design from Rochester Institute of Technology. He enjoys golfing, basketball, wine, travel and oil painting. His last art show ran for the month of May 2016 and drew the largest opening reception audience in the gallery’s history.
